My work

Most of my career has focused on managing teams (both up and down), implementing effective processes across departments, and proposing innovative ways to solve problems and strategize with leadership.

My background is in design and production work, and after a few years doing print layout, I had a manager point out that I was a much better project manager than I was a designer. Thanks to this excellent advice, I shifted my focus to project management, but I have an appreciation for design, research, and service design.

I have a servant-leader approach to project management: I always describe myself as the team’s cheerleader. I will advocate for you, set up process, write documentation, and these things will lead the team to success. Being a project manager is a behind-the-scenes job: you’re behind the team documenting, taking notes, writing requirements, ensuring everything is running on-track, and finding out what risks are before the team even thinks about them, all while keeping track of the budget and the burndown!

I’ve had the opportunity to work on varied projects ranging from year-plus long implementations to quick two week projects. Check out some of these projects below.
