Part of my work with Austin Tech Alliance is to promote civic engagement in Austin’s tech sector through advocacy and policy change. I do this through issuing and acting on our policy agenda both on a state and local level. 

This work often includes working with elected officials, speaking with the community, testifying at the State Capitol and helping others to organize and understand how to advocate on their own. 

For my New Leaders Council capstone project, I created An Introverts Guide to Citizen Advocacy - a limited run zine which I created after 2019’s Texas Legislative session.
